Tidy Hack - Just Do This One Thing

I laughed when I saw this. How true is it for you?

Decluttering, tidying or organising a home is a lot of work. I know lots of people get tired just by thinking of it.

I am going to share a tidy hack today. (No, the hack is not to give it a disgusted stare!)

Provide a house for your items.

What??

It means use containers and trays to contain your items. Putting an item into a drawer or shelf provides them the land they will rest on. But you would also need to provide it a dwelling in the form of a container or a tray. Without a dwelling, items quickly lose their designated place and the space will look very messy very quickly.

Putting items into trays and containers immediately makes the space look neater and tidier. It also lets us remember where the item belongs to. Putting it back into place after using it is much easier. No more leaving it lying around just because you are not sure where it should go back to.

This one tidy hack is not going magically declutter your home, but it will make your space look tidier and neater immediately.
